Kernel Collaborative,
named for the fertile center of a seed, is a print magazine that uplifts voices speaking on the raw power of love and care and joy. We thrive on your submissions of art, poetry, fiction, articles, essays, how-to guides, and comics.
We believe that genuine goodness is a cornerstone of the revolution, that kindness is a beautiful act of subversion, that celebration of the marginalized is a battlecry, and that the acts of care and resistance are often one and the same.
Our goal is to amplify creators who are fighting the good fight. Toppling evil only gets you so far without a foundation of love to rebuild upon. Kernel Collaborative is a fertile space where that love can put down roots.

Come to the Issue 01 launch party!
Submissions are closed and we are hard at work turning your gorgeous art and writing into a whole magazine.
We will be hosting a home grown launch party with live music, a collage corner, typewriter poetry, and more at the Gunks Gaming Guild on November 07, 2026 at 6pm. Come on over to get a copy of the magazine (for free!) and enjoy the festivities.
